Telepathy from the Turbaned Man

"Fortunately , [the scandal] did not cut into my admiration for the President in any way . On the contrary, I developed a sense of appreciation for his cleverness"  Ratnu

JAIPUR, INDIA -- What a co-incidence! The President of the United States decides to spend two days out of a 5-day Indian tour in, among all places, the home city of a man who himself was once preoccupied by the thought of saving President Clinton from being ousted from the White House on account of a now so well-known scandal. This turbaned man - a lover of freedom and an ardent admirer of Clinton and Churchill- was none else but myself. In fact, I loved the President ever since I saw his face on the TV screen for the first time during the 1992 presidential election. Witty, Charming, and giving hearty hugs to everybody - gents and ladies alike -won not only the heart of the American People but mine also.

When the wild stories of his personal life began to wriggle out in the media, I was as much amused by them as was the rest of the world. Fortunately , it did not cut into my admiration for the President in any way . On the contrary, I developed a sense of appreciation for his cleverness.   He has such a lovely personality that whenever I saw him on TV I had to stop any other work that I was doing. He is an excellent orator, and I appreciated his concerns as well. Back in 98, the dragnet that his opponenets successfully threw out to bring him down became a matter of great concern for me. I suddenly viewed an opportunity in it -- the opportunity of availing my imaginative and literary talents in order to rescue the President. At the outset I was certain that it would be impossible for the President to come out unscarred, yet he could come out unscathed and successfully avert his ouster.

I had to work out a way that would succeed even if worse came to worse. The time was closing in fast. One after another, newer developments were taking place, suggesting that the movement to oust him was getting stronger. However, I had started my work; I, too, was working day out and day in to save the President. It was an Obsession. I could nether eat nor sleep properly. Finally, I worked out and completed the book: The Ultimate Defence against Impeachment.

Meanwhile, my father had fallen seriously ill. He was on his death-bed but I could neither stop nor even brake the work for the time being. A ring was tightening around the President, but so was my own scheme of things. No sooner had the book come out that I sent it directly to the President so that he could utilize the ideas contained in it. Particularly the "speech" drafted in the book for the President to read before a joint session of the US congress. The President responded by sending a one-line note of appreciation personally signed by him -- a morale-boosting gesture for me which still keeps me captivated towards him and keep activated my interest towards the developments involving him.

In the book I had given a chapter - "The Turbaned Man" - to explaining my own emotions towards the President and my own conceived role in assisting him to come out of the crisis unscathed, thereby rescuing him. In that chapter I have described in detail the "Taj Mahal" of Agra, comparing its dome with the dome of the Capitol Hill complex housing the seat of US Congress. And I reside at Jaipur, the Pink City of India, which too has been well explained in the "Acknowledgement" of the book as well as in the above referenced chapter.

I can't help but wonder if it is a  mere coincidence that the President  is visiting the "Taj Mahal" at Agra and afterward making his two-night halt at the Pink City of India. Or  it is by the telepathic effect of the intense thought that I had concentrated upon the President that he is happily making his stay at this city longer than any other place in India including Delhi? The only explanation I find is that the  intense thought and complete concentration of my mind, and my insaccent prayers, have had a telepathic effect upon the mind of the President  or his staff who planned his visit, and has had clearly influenced theirs or the President's decision without their/his knowing it in any way . Believe it or not, the mystiques of India have  already begun to  work on the visit of the President.

Clinton's Visit "A Virtual Invasion"

"It is said that over one hundred trucks and other vehicles have already arrived with various equipment and  unknown luggage of their own including food , medicines and every other facility . The President will not taste or touch the food of this place."

JAIPUR -- It is not a VIP visit; it is more like a virtual American invasion of this city . Most of the three- and five-star hotels are fully booked , half the booking only for the Americans here for the Clinton visit . Rumors are ripe here . I am yet to confirm the actual figures . Some say they would number over 1500 personnel in all in this city alone, not to mention Delhi and the other places . Most of them are security staff equipped with jeeps, trucks , helicopters, and planes of their own .

The village, which is only a few kilometers from the hotel where the President will be putting up, has been geared up to welcome the President in a very extraordinary manner . Helipads are being prepared; Mansions and the fort of the village (Nayla) are being renovated;. Roads have been prepared; A fresh and a totally new look has been given to the whole village -all houses colored afresh . Even the school which the President will visit has been named  “Clinton school,” and there he will be accorded a warm traditional welcome .We hear the poor people of the village too have prepared new clothes to put on that fateful day when the President will set his foot in their village .

There is a wholesale transformation of the infra-structure facilities . American security personnel have been scanning the area the President is due to visit for the last week . There is humming activity all around those hotels and places which the President will visit, or at which his advance teams are staying. They simply ignore anyone trying to contact them . They have their own agenda to implement . It is said that over one hundred trucks and other vehicles have already arrived with various equipment and  unknown luggage of their own including food , medicines and every other facility . The President will not taste or touch the food of this place.

It is rumored that quite possibly the staff  would include the FBI and CIA sleuths –dangerous people to deal with -ready to shoot any one at the slightest movement of the muscle of a body  . Nobody knows what they will do, but one thing most of the people here agree upon is that it is always better to keep away from them . They can bring about death earlier than decided by destiny. It is widely believed that they have come equipped to shoot down  missiles fired upon the presidential plane or helicopter. Some intelligent minds cannot help wondering -in fact  suspecting - that under the garb of security arrangements these unknown agents have been given such freedom of approach and action that they may in fact compromise the security of our own nation . These people equipped with helicopters and most sensitive equipments can visit any area and hover over any place to take close- up  photos, which is not possible by satellites .

It is indeed a matter of great curiosity for the people to know the details of the presidential agenda here –purely a pleasure trip unconnected with any of the issues so widely covered in the media . I met one of the staff of the advance team and expressed my desire to see the President exerting my qualification of having written a book on the President . His reply was simple –“ I have no time” although he did shake the hand warmly . In view of the size of the presidential entourage everyone is convinced this is not a presidential  pleasure trip . This is a pure American invasion of this beautiful city.
